National Survey on Local Government
IDRA Research has conducted for the second time an annual national survey which examine how citizens view local government services. These surveys have been contracted by Urban Institute (UI) under their USAID project "Local Government and Decentralization in Albania" (LGDA).
Media Monitoring on Local Elections
IDRA has conducted Media Monitoring for Local Elections held in 18 February 2007. During the period December 2006 - February 2007 IDRA has monitored 9 main TV channels and 5 main Newspapers. This Media Monitoring project has been supported from the USAID project "Democracy and Governance in Albania" (DGA).
Tirana Transparency Survey
IDRA Research has conducted for the second year the citizen survey of Tirana Municipality. The survey was conducted in Tirana with a sample of 1000 randomly selected people.
Life in Transition Survey
IDRA Research has conducted for Albania the EBRD's "Life in Transition" survey.
"Life in Transition" survey was conducted in 30 countries in Europe, CIS (ex Soviet Union) & Turkey. The survey in 30 countries was coordinated by Synovate and IDRA Research was the partner for Albania.
Local Government Surveys in 13 cities
IDRA Research has conducted for the second time surveys in 13 cities gathering citizens opinions on Municipality Services.
Business Survey
IDRA Research has conducted for the third year in a row a business surveys with 200 companies. This survey was supported by EDEM project.
Consumers Survey
IDRA Research has conducted a survey on consumers' rights, their awareness for their rights and their consumer behaviour. In 15 of march is the Intenational Day of Consumers. Click here for the results (in Albanian).
Local Government Surveys
The results of Local Government Survey, conducted by IDRA Research under the USAID/LGDA project have been presented to the media in a press conference held in Hotel Rogner in Tirana. Click here for the results (in Albanian).
Tirana Transparency Survey
 IDRA Research has conducted the citizen survey of Tirana Municipality. The survey was conducted in Tirana with a sample of 1000 randomly selected people. The main aim of of this survey was to gather the opinion of citizens on the quality of public services provided by Tirana Municipality. This survey will serve Tirana Municipality staff to better understand the needs of their citizens and shape accordingly their plans and budget. This survey was funded by the OSCE presence in Albania.
Public Administration Survey
IDRA Research has conducted a survey on Public Admistration contracted by the Rule of Law Project of USAID. This survey is part of multidimensional research that this project has contracted IDRA to do. Another parts of it are: Mass Public (conducted) Survey and Judicial (conducted) Survey.
Mass Public "Perception of Corruption" Survey
IDRA Research has conducted a national survey on Perception of Corruption contracted by the Rule of Law Project of USAID. This survey is part of multidimensional research that this project has contracted IDRA to do. Another parts of it are: Public Administration Survey (conducted) and Judicial Survey (conducted).
Local Government Surveys
IDRA Research has conducted households surveys which examine how citizens view local government services. These surveys have been contracted by Urban Institute (UI) under their USAID project. This information will help local officials, policymakers, and donors to identify needs, establish priorities, and assess the impact of local government technical assistance. IDRA conducted a National Survey and 9 City specific surveys with households. The surveys had the focus on the following issues: i) Understanding of government roles; ii) Local government performance with respect to services; iii) Local government responsiveness to citizens; iv) Citizen involvement in local government; v) Local government accountability; and vi) Perception of corruption. This subcontract is part of the Local Government and Decentralization in Albania (LGDA) project funded by USAID.
BEEPS 2005 (EBRD & WB)
IDRA Research, commissioned by Synovate, conducted the Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS 2005) in Albania.
The Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS) is a joint initiative of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development ( EBRD) and the World Bank Group and aims to assess the environment for private enterprise and business development. This is the third round of BEEPS after those in 1999 and in 2002. This round of the BEEPS III administered to approximately 9,500 enterprises in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including Turkey & CIS.
